Maps in Project: SCP are randomly chosen from a map pool, every map was summitted by the players on the Project: SCP Discord and are different in size, contents and layout. Maps have an unique Map ID.
The only zones which do not change regardless of the Map ID are the Surface Zone, Surface Containment Zone and Sub-levels.
Community Servers can also make their own custom maps with custom rooms.
If you’re ever up for creating your own map, whether it’s just for fun, to change up your community server, or to potentially see it featured in the game, here’s the map-making guide to get you started.
If you’re considering submitting a map, make sure to check out the requirements listed on that page. It’s important to meet these criteria for your submission to be eligible, if you’re trying to submit an official map.
Map submissions are still open!
This is a handy list of maps you can find in the game with their map codes.
Check out the Map Maker section on the Credits page to see credits for all the people who have created maps for the game, including removed ones.
