Cards are used to open various locked doors across the facility, to gain weapons, activate the nuke and escape. Each card has different access levels which can open different doors. Every card can be upgraded via SCP-914.
There are 15 access tools in the game, 11 are keycards, 3 are hacking tools, and the last is SCP-005.
To open a keycard door, hold a keycard that has the correct permission and press E or press on the door if you are on mobile or VR.
12 out of the 15 cards are keycards. They are a key part of the game. They are needed to open doors to get certain items and escape.

Hax devices are a unique type of “card”, different from the rest of the cards in the game. These devices are only available to the Chaos Insurgents, having 3 different levels. These devices cannot be turned into keycards, being upgraded upon themselves. Certain cards can be turned into Hax Devices.
This device consists of a handle, a motherboard, a screen, batteries and wires. The motherboard is a light green in color. The screen displays Chaos HaxDevice.

The GOC Scrambler is a type of “card” that is meant to bypass keycard scanners in order to bypass the Foundation’s facility keycard scanners. This Scrambler is only given to the GOC and sport the classic 3 ranking system that the Chaos Insurgency and the Mobile Task Forces have with their keycards and devices. Currently the Scramblers cannot be upgraded, downgraded, or put on 1:1.
The front of the scrambler has the GOCOMPANY
logo and a icon resembling a hourglass and the back of the scrambler contains the GOCOMPANY
logo, the name of the device ScramblerV1®
, and it’s serial number 124556
with it’s manufacturing location scratched off (presumably to hide the location of the GOCOMPANY
.)

The GOC ScramblerV3
is very similar to the keycards before it other than the locations of logos, the name of the scrambler and the serial number. The back of scrambler contains the the name of the device, ScramblerV3®
, and it’s serial number 24125
with it’s manufacturing location also scratched off but with much more scratch marks than the other GOC Scramblers.

The 19 Dollar Fortnite Card is a card that was added in as a joke. The card looks like a $1999 giftcard for the hit battle royale game “Fortnite”. You can only obtain this card by putting an O5 through 1:1 in 914.
