The Surface Containment Zone is one of the three main Containment Zones in Project: SCP. Its purpose is the containment and study of anomalies, mostly low-threat Safe class SCPs; and other important rooms.
SCP-1507 spawns in this zone.
Below you will see the rooms that spawn in the Surface Containment Zone.
Unlike most other zones, the layout of the Surface Containment Zone is a constant, which means it wont change no matter the map.
It has 8 different hallways. 6 are named “Hall-[NUMBER]”, while the other two are “Storage” and “Maintenance Tunnels”.
One of two working elevators in the zone. This is the only way to directly access the Sub-levels from the Surface Containment Zone.
The Surface Containment Zone Medical Bay, locked and unaccessible. |
According to a note, SCP-303, also known as “The Doorman”, is behind the door, which means it cannot be opened due to the SCP’s nature.
SCP-131’s Observation Room. |
SCP-131’s Containment Chamber, both SCP-131 instances are missing. |
This room is meant for the containment of SCP-131-A and SCP-131-B, also known as “Eye Pods”.
The Surface Containment Zone Emergency Shelter is blocked by multiple crates. It is also locked and inaccessible.
Storage Area of the Surface Containment Zone. |
The Storage Area is between Hall-2 and the Maintenance Tunnels, its purpose is to temporarily contain Safe class SCP items before being transfered into a proper containment area.
The Storage Area has a generator and a box of SCP-148.
SCP Storage Room 1. |
Stores four crates filled with SCP-148, and SCP-1981.

The Maintenance Hallway is, as the name says, the part of the Surface Containment Zone that’s used for the maintenance and upkeep of the zone.
This room is used to store useful items for the maintenance of the Surface Containment Zone.
Locked Maintenance Door 1. |
Locked Maintenance Door 2. |
These doors would give access to more parts of the Maintenance Tunnels, but are locked.
One of two working elevators in the zone. This is the only way to directly access the Heavy Containment Zone from the Surface Containment Zone.
The Surface Containment Armory stores various weapons and equipment used for combat.

The Greenhouse Area works as a X-Hallway intersection to connect Hall-1, Hall-4, Hall-5 and the Staff Offices. It is characterized by a gigant tree in the middle.

The Gate-C Easter Egg Area, image obtained using Noclip from the Admin Panel. |
Above Hall-1, more specifically above the Sub-levels elevator, there’s a broken window, where you can see a Noob in a suit looking at you, and what seem to be an indicator for both Gate-B and a “Gate-C”. Gate-C is not an accessible part of the map.
